This crab linguine recipe is so easy to make. Perfect for a mid week dinner as you’ll have it on the table in under 15 minutes. By using tinned crab meat it makes it more of a store cupboard dinner, but with some fresh ingredients thrown in that you’re likely to have to hand anyway.

Preparation time – 5 minutes
Cooking time – 12 minutes
Serves – 4
Ingredients for Crab Linguine

2 x 170g Tin white crab meat
5 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
5 fresh wild garlic leaves chopped (or substitute for 2 garlic cloves crushed)
I red hot chilli finely chopped (or substitute for a tsp of dried chilli flakes)
Handful of chopped fresh parsley
2 Tbsp of freshly squeezed lemon juice and zest of 1 unwaxed lemon
500g linguine (or substitute for spaghetti)
Salt and pepper to season
Method
In a bowl combine the crab meat, with the parsley, lemon zest and juice. Season with salt and pepper and set aside.

Cook the pasta in a large saucepan of boiling salted water until al dente or according to packet instructions.
When the pasta is about 3 minutes away from being ready, heat the oil in a large pan over a low heat and fry the garlic and chilli together for a minute. Then add the crab mixture to it and heat through, stirring continually.
When the pasta is ready drain and then tip it back into the same pan. Spoon in the crab mixture and mix everything together.
Serve in bowls with a side salad or some garlic bread.
